Richard started his working career with Shell Tankers (UK) Ltd, where he qualified as a Marine Engineering Officer. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing with more than 25 years senior management experience, including 16 years with Farnell Electronic Components Limited as General Manager for operations throughout Southeast Asia and China and as Group Marketing Director at Deutsch (Tyco). Richard joined BNL as Global Sales & Marketing Director in 2014, from Eaton, where he was General Manager of the Fire & Voice Systems business. After more than 8 years of managing BNL’s global sales and marketing teams, Richard took up the role of Chief Commercial Officer in 2023. Richard has considerable product and regulation expertise associated to the supply of components to the aerospace and automotive markets.
Jon joined BNL in 2010 from KPMG where he worked as Audit Manager for a variety of blue-chip clients. He took up the role as Financial Director of BNL in July 2013 and is responsible for the Finance Team and all financial operations. He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
Mark joined BNL in 2013 as the Design Manager, overseeing the design activity in all of the company’s offices globally. In 2015 he became responsible for all New Product Development and Engineering as Engineering Director. Mark is an apprentice trained mechanical engineer also holding a BEng (Hons) Manufacturing Engineering degree and has held engineering and R&D management roles in industries from medical to plant machinery.
Group Supply Chain Director
Gemma joined BNL from IMI Cornelius in 2012, where she had worked in production & process planning, projects management and quality roles. Starting at BNL in NPD as our Projects Manager, and then New Product Manager, Gemma returned to a more operational role as Group Supply Chain Manager in 2016. Promoted to Director in 2022, Gemma is responsible for the supply chain teams and the supply and logistics operations at both our UK and Thailand factories, and at our engineering & sales offices worldwide.
Nigel joined BNL in 2022 as Operations Manager, and is responsible for the manufacturing operations at both the UK and Thailand manufacturing sites and championing our lean manufacturing initiatives, operational performance and efficiency improvements.
Nigel previously worked for BorgWarner Turbo Systems, where as Senior Operations Manager, he increased manufacturing efficiencies on automotive production lines to 100% OTIF and OEM targets, by building fit-for-purpose team structures, establishing pull system methods and implementing lean manufacturing best practices.
Nigel’s professional experience includes managing machining, assembly, maintenance, facilities & warehousing, process & industrial engineering functions and he holds a First BEng Honours Degree in Manufacturing Systems, and MSc in Engineering and Level 5 Coaching and Management Diplomas.
